NEW HAMPSHIRE AND THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING FIRST PLACE (SECOND IS THE NEW FIRST)

Reuters' reporting on the New Hampshire Primary leaves a little to be desired. Check out this tweet:

"Yup, Pete 2nd, Amy 3rd.... Any questions? Did we miss anything?"

Apparently it's really, really unimportant who won. In fact, this being the Democratic Party, maybe they just abolished 1st place for being "supremacist" or something.

Anyway, stop asking awkward questions. Maybe the Dems don't want you to know, and, of course, Reuters -- along with the rest of the mainstream media -- is happy to play along.

Just focus on who finished second and third. That's the story. Definitely don't try to find out who finished in first place -- or even if there is a first place.

Also, don't bother looking at who finished fifth. After all if he makes a "comeback" in South Carolina or somewhere, they definitely don't want you being reminded of how badly he did here.
