BIDEN WINS NEVADA BY COMING SECOND (SANDERS FINISHES LAST WITH MOST OF THE VOTES)
Remember in Democratic primaries it doesn't matter who comes first. It only matters who finishes second because, as we saw in Iowa, second is the new first.
In fact, that is the very essence of the Leftism that has taken root in the Democratic Party. Winners are bad, so best to let the guy who finishes second take the top slot, and that slot now belongs to the "Comeback Kid," Joe "battling" Biden, who was the biggest loser in the Nevada Caucus and therefore the true and only winner.
As reported by Politico:
After dismal fourth- and fifth-place finishes in Iowa and New Hampshire, Biden sounded a victorious note when he took the stage at a union hall here and declared a comeback — even though fewer than a 10 percent of the precincts were in and showed him in a distant second to Bernie Sanders.
“I know we don't know the final results yet, but I feel really good,” Biden said. “You put me in a position. You know, the press is ready to declare people dead quickly but we're alive and we're coming back and we're going to win.”
At one point, a member of the crowd yelled that the 77-year-old was “the comeback kid!”
Moments before the speech, Biden campaign manager Greg Schultz said on Twitter that “based on our internal data, Biden will come in a strong second tonight in Nevada” because of robust turnout among African Americans, caucus-goers older than 65 and those who oppose Medicare for All, Sanders’ signature plan.
The final results, which are perfect for Biden, were as follows:
2nd: Joe Biden 19.2%
3rd Pete Buttigieg 15.4%
4th Elizabeth Warren 10.3%
5th Amy Klobuchar 4.5%
6th Tom Steyer 3.8%
7th Tulsi Gabbard 0.1%
8th Andrew Yang 0.1%
9th Michael Bennet 0.1%
10th Deval Patrick 0.1%
11th John Delaney 0%
12th Bernie Sanders 46.6%
After coming in last with most of the votes, Bernie Sanders's Presidential run is practically over.
