A major "cauc" up or something more sinister?

The big story from the the Iowa Primary is not what it should be -- namely, how badly Joe Biden fucked up and how well Bernie Sanders did. But instead how there is "no victor on caucus night."

Yes the voting fuck up, which was entirely down to the management of the Democratic Party establishment, has pushed Bernie's victory here out of the headlines and given Biden -- who looks like he'll finish third, fourth, or even fifth-- a fig leaf to cover his shame.

Here's CNN playing up on cue.

An embarrassing vote-reporting mess in the Iowa Democratic caucuses means there is so far no winner in the crucial opening contest to find a candidate to take on President Donald Trump in November.

More than four hours after the caucuses started with Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former Vice President Joe Biden vying for first place, the first results of 1,600 precincts have yet to emerge.

And campaigns were told in the early morning hours Tuesday not expect any results until later in the day, two officials tell CNN.

"At this point now they need to get it right," one official said.

An Iowa Democratic official said results are still being collected -- and that will overnight if the precinct chairs keep calling them in. No time estimate was given to campaigns. "They literally have no verified results," a senior campaign adviser said. "We won't know anything until sometime Tuesday -- at least."

You don't need to worry about the details too much -- it was some unnecessary app that the Dems introduced to report the "data." The key point is that the fuck-up was triggered when they saw how poorly the "preferred" candidate of the Party bigwigs was doing. 

The plan here is to stop momentum forming behind the Leftist populism of the Commie candidate Bernie Sander, giving the Party insiders more time to sabotage his campaign or find a candidate who can stop him, as it increasingly looks like it's not going to be Joe Biden.
