The Western Cape is the only one of South Africa's nine provinces that isn't controlled by the kleptocratic, anti-White Africa National Congress Party (ANC). This is because the province has enough White and "Colored" (mixed race) voters to vote in the Democratic Alliance, a centrist cuck party that naively believes in non-identity politics.
But it seems that the ANC is not content to leave the Western Cape outside its control -- too many rich pickings.
In the past it has made threats against the provincial government, while its offshoot party, the Economic Freedom Fighters, led by Julius Malema, is known to take an even more aggressive stance.
Now it seems that forces aligned with these groups are seeking to attack Western Cape by a campaign of sabotage that has seen more than 140 train carriages burnt in arson attacks in the last year.
As reported by News 24:
The recent spate of train fires in Cape Town are the result of criminal activity which must be urgently halted, said mayoral committee member for transport and urban development Brett Herron as another fire broke out.
"It is undeniable that a sinister force is at work to completely destroy our rail system," Heron, the city’s member of the mayoral committee for transport and urban development, said in a statement on Saturday.
"Our commuter rail system is under relentless attack and this is clearly not opportunistic crime but a well orchestrated programme of sabotage."...
Heron said the most recent attacks were targeting the central line which had the "highest passenger demand" and was already operating "at a fraction of its capacity".
What seems to be happening here is a repeat of the ANC-style low grade terrorist attacks carried out in the 1970s and 80s to make South Africa hard to govern, and thus prepare the way for ANC control.
Without such a sinister political or revolutionary purpose, these arson attacks would lack any motive and simply wouldn't be happening.
