LEFT TRIGGERED BY TRUMP SUPREME JUSTICE CHOICE

How the Left see Trump's choice for Supreme Justice.

President Trump has named Brett Kavanaugh, a Catholic, Irish-American Conservative as his nomination for the supreme court vacancy left by the resignation of Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Appointing Chief Justices is always a gamble because, once confirmed by the Senate, they can't be fired and thus become a law unto themselves. Kavanaugh's record however suggests that he will a fairly reliable if boring common sense conservative. 

While this makes him anathema to the hysterical Left, it should also ensure that there is not quite enough opposition in the Senate to prevent his confirmation. 

The main point of interest now is to watch the Left desperately searching for some minor nuance or detail in Kavanaugh's previous court decisions that they can spin as "evidence" of insanity or evil. 

For example last year Kavanaugh ruled against a 17-year-old illegal immigrant in federal custody having an immediate abortion.

In the deranged eyes of the Left this means that he wants to abolish all abortion and have each and every woman chained down and forced to pump out children between the ages of 15 to 50.

Chuck Schumer, the Jewish minority leader in the Senate, opined:

“In selecting Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the supreme court, President Trump has put reproductive rights and freedoms and healthcare protections for millions of Americans on the judicial chopping block ... I will oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have.”

Chopping block? Interesting turn of phrase. Pity he didn't say, "President Trump has thrown reproductive rights into a bucket to die."

Then there are Kavanaugh's views on the legality of the endless impeachment circus that has clogged up half the news cycle since Trump was elected.

Back in 2009, Kavanaugh produced an article in which he wrote: 

“A serious constitutional question exists regarding whether a president can be criminally indicted and tried while in office..."

He also wrote that the indictment and trial of a sitting President "would cripple the federal government, rendering it unable to function with credibility in either the international or domestic arena” and that such efforts to undemocratically unseat a President are "time consuming and distracting.”

A lot of this is just perceptive, unbiased comment, pointing out problem areas that arise when partisan politics try to override democratic decisions. The fact that the comments were made in 2009 also suggests that they were referring to possible hard-line Conservative attempts to impeach Obama. 

But despite this, in the fevered brains of Leftists such milqetoast comments mean that he is calling for the imperial coronation of Donald Trump as Supreme Dictator of the Universe who must never be questioned.

The fact of the matter is that there are two kinds of Supreme Justices -- middle-of-the-road, common sense types who are totally non-ideological and Leftist shills out to twist and pervert every part of the Constitution to create a Leftist dystopia. The job of Leftist politicians and Leftist media is to convince you that the bias is all on the other side. 

In a perfect world, real right-wingers would be appointed Chief Justices to take the "culture war" into the camp of the enemy, and push back the tide of Leftist filth that has swept over our civilisation since the 1960s. In the meantime we'll just have to make do with this as a place holder:
