No word has been more abused than the word "Nazi."
In politics it is routinely applied to anyone to the right of Trotsky, or else anyone expressing concerns about mass immigration.
But if you thought the hysterical Left were going to finally dial it back a bit in the face of continued populist uprisings think again. No, as usual they are simply going to double down.
As recent lamppost stickers have revealed, the Left-wing environmental group Extinction Rebellion is now accusing anyone who drives a car of being a "Nazi." This is pretty ironic, because throughout the peak of their power in the early 1940s, the Nazis had extreme problems finding enough gasoline to run their vehicles:
However, with an estimated 1.2 billion car drivers in the world, Extinction Rebellion is now literally saying that over a billion people are "Nazis." Really? That many! Wow...
I wonder if they have thought this thing through, or the potential consequences of making a word like this into a running joke, along with themselves. Probably not.
