BURNING THE BIKINIS: AMERICA TO BECOME A "THIN-SHAMING" COUNTRY

Alas the rot had already set in.

Despite electing "pussy grabber" Donald Trump President in 2016, America is still moving inexorably leftwards under the accumulated momentum of Cultural Marxist control of its main media, academic, cultural, and moral institutions.

The latest milestone on this relentless road to hell comes in the form of the Miss America competition, which has decided to ban the swimwear section in the next competition:

The next edition of the Miss America pageant will scrap swimsuits and will be more inclusive to women of all sizes, the contest announced Tuesday. Gretchen Carlson, the chairwoman of the Miss America board of directors, announced on "Good Morning America" that the event will no longer feature a swimsuit portion.

Miss America will be a competition, not a pageant, Carlson said on the show Tuesday.

"We will no longer judge our candidates on their outward physical appearance. That's huge," she said. Carlson also said the new Miss America competition will be more inclusive to women of "all shapes and sizes."

What this represents is not just America moving away from so-called "fat-shaming" -- a perfectly respectable aspect of any society that cares about the health and marriage prospects of it young women -- but actually a crossing of the watershed into becoming a society characterised by "thin-shaming." What this leads to is a society where anyone slender, beautiful, intelligent, or charming will be an object of increasing horror and derision to the cultural commissars who now dictate our cultural and aesthetic standards. 

The Right is just as guilty of this travesty as the Left because it vacated the field of cultural warfare long ago, leaving it entirely to the Cultural Marxists. Only a full-scale metapolitical war can ever redress this situation.
