Even at the best of times it's hard to know what's on Bibi Netanyahu's mind. But this was even more true last week when the Israeli Prime Minister met much-feared Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at his Jerusalem home for dinner, and then proceeded to insult and humiliate him by offering him dessert served in an actual shoe!!!
Luckily Abe had forgot to bring his razor sharp samurai sword with him, so Netanyahu was spared his life for offering this grievous insult to Japan's chief samurai.
A dinner with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and their wives last week was interrupted by an offensive cultural faux pas: Dessert was served in a shoe.
While serving food in a shoe seems like an odd choice for any culture, it has an especially offensive connotation in Japan.
“This was a stupid and insensitive decision,” a senior Israeli diplomat who served in Japan told the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Aharonot, according to The Jerusalem Post.
“There is nothing more despised in Japanese culture than shoes,” the diplomat said. “Not only do they not enter their houses while wearing shoes, you will not find shoes in their offices either. Even the prime minister, ministers and members of parliament do not wear shoes to work … It is equivalent to serving a Jewish guest chocolates in a dish shaped like a pig.”
Really, it looks like someone just stood in a dog turd and then took off their shoe and offered it as dessert, LOL.

Really, who serves dessert like this at anytime, let alone at a high-level diplomatic meeting!?
What could have possessed Netanyahu to cause this diplomatic melt-down at a time when Israel needs all the lukewarm support it can get from US allies to continue massacring demonstrators and bombing its neighbours?

Perhaps, Bibi had heard the famous internet meme, "The Jews fear the Samurai" and wanted to disprove it by courageously offering "chief samurai" Shinzo Abe shit a shoe. Either way, it looks like Netanyahu is just a heel with no real sole.
