FEMALE LIFEBOAT BOSS FIRES UNPAID HEROES BECAUSE OF SEXY MUGS

"Oh no, some sexists are coming to rescue me. I hope they go away."
In the latest example of political correctness gone mad in Britcuckistan, two unpaid lifeboatmen from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) have been fired from their volunteer jobs simply because their female boss didn't like their taste in coffee mugs:
Two lifeboat crewmen were sacked and four are said to have quit in a row over naked women on mugs. The men, all unpaid volunteers, swapped various “jokey” designs as Secret Santa gifts. Whitby RNLI said ‘two volunteers have been stood down’ and ‘others have resigned’ after a probe into the ‘production of inappropriate material of a sexual nature and social media activity.’

One [of the mugs] featured a photo of a nude woman with the head of one crewman superimposed on top. A female boss visited the station and found the mugs in a cupboard. Sources say the crew were told to destroy them and told the matter would go no further.

But in March the men were told the mugs were a “safeguarding breach” because they might be seen by visiting school pupils. They faced disciplinary hearings, which also looked into messages in a WhatsApp group. Friends say trainee Joe Winspear, 26, and crewman Ben Laws were dismissed by phone on Tuesday.
The offending item.
When contacted about firing unpaid volunteers who risk their own lives to save others and for such a trivial reason, the RNLI doubled down on their intolerant micromanaging bullshit. An RNLI spokesman told the BBC:
We are aware of speculation about the issue on social media but we want to stress that this was not a trivial matter. The lifeboat station should be an environment where people can expect to be treated with dignity and respect. We cannot allow bullying, harassment or discrimination in what should be a safe and inclusive environment and there will be serious consequences for anybody who demonstrates this behaviour within the RNLI. Our dedicated volunteers represent the values and principles of our organisation and we will not allow any behaviour that brings the work of the RNLI and our people into disrepute."
Good luck manning the boats with that kind of attitude, RNLI.

Also, good luck raising money from members of the public, most of whom don't give a flying f**k what someone who saves their lives has on his coffee mug (yes, it almost always is a "his").

Next time you see one of these, remember to tell them to piss in it.

We take kids groups to these places and get drinks for the kids in these places, shouldn't have top shelf stuff near kids in learning rooms surely?

THIS. Also that cup on your blog is not the cup they used, it was an open legged photo that no newspapers can print.
