BASED ISRAELI ARABS RISE UP AGAINST INSULTING "FAST FOOD" VERSION OF JESUS

Pro-Zionist American Christians may be rethinking their support for Israel, after the latest incident in the country showing disrespect for their religion, where a state-supported museum in Haifa has just put a deeply sacrilegious and insulting sculpture of Jesus on public display. 

This has provoked the town's Arabs, who are overwhelmingly Christian, to rise up in protest at the insult to their religion, and clash with police as they attempted to storm the museum to remove the sculpture.

The sculpture, called "McJesus," is by Finnish "artist" Jani Leinonen, and shows MacDonald's creepy clown mascot Ronald MacDonald Jesus on the cross in place of Jesus.

Hundreds of Arab Christian demonstrators clashed with police in Haifa on Friday over a museum’s display of a sculpture depicting Ronald McDonald, the mascot of the fast-food giant, on a cross, amid calls to remove the artwork that some have called offensive.

Police said a few hundred protesters tried to force their way into the Haifa Museum of Art during the demonstration and that three officers were injured by rocks hurled at them.

An investigation was opened to identify the rock-throwers, and a 32-year-old resident of the city was arrested on suspicion of attacking officers.

One of the protesters complained that the government was slow to react to their concerns because they were from the Christian minority. “If they put up [a sculpture of] Hitler with a Torah scroll they would immediately respond,” he told the Walla news site.

Haifa's population of Christian Arabs has a long history, stretching back to the Holy Crusades, and can be militant in defending their religious identity.

Because of the intense feelings generated, the Israeli state is now putting on a show of concern, with Culture Minister Miri Regev asking the Haifa Museum to remove the sculpture. 

The museum has responded by saying they will "put up a sign" at the entrance to the exhibit explaining it contains "potentially offensive content." Obviously they are not getting the message.
