WAS NIGER ATTACK THAT KILLED FOUR AN INSIDE JOB?

Sacrifices on the altar of Globalism
The death toll in the Al Qaeda attack on American troops in the African country of Niger has climbed to four after the US admitted that one soldier who had gone missing was also found dead:
"Reuters had learned previously that one US soldier was missing after Wednesday's operation. It withheld publication of this information at the request of the Pentagon, which maintained that its rescue and recovery effort would be jeopardized. The Pentagon disclosed on Friday that the service member's body had been located. It declined to release a name, pending notification of his family. 'The body of another US service member has been recovered from the area of the attack, bringing the number of US service members killed in this attack to four,' Colonel Robert Manning said in a statement."
This sounds like the most disturbing of the four deaths -- a US soldier captured and later butchered with what cruelty and savagery we can only imagine.

Also surprising is that the ten US soldiers attacked were all members of the Green Berets, essentially the elite troops of the American army. Yet they were ambushed and slaughtered by what are essentially under-armed Third World tribesmen.

One possible reason for this military defeat is that US forces were not allowed to use surveillance drones. As reported by Fox News:
"The Pentagon has built two drone bases inside Niger, but the local government doesn’t allow armed drone flights to protect U.S. troops, despite repeated requests from the U.S. military."
But even without drones, it is still strange for Green Berets to get BTFOed in this way.

Another possibility is that there was treachery by the Niger troops they were supposedly training. Four of these are reported dead, although it is still unclear who killed who and how, with the the Pentagon pleading "Muh tactical secrecy."

It is a favourite tactic of Islamic jihadis around the World to infiltrate native military forces that are trained by US troops, and then use those positions of relative trust to attack and kill Americans. Something similar may have happened here. Basically an inside job.

Altogether there are 800 US troops in Niger, almost all of them based at two unused drone airfields. Plenty more targets for Al Qaeda and with no clear purpose to be there.
