ITALIAN SCHOOL BUS JOURNEY MYSTERIOUSLY TURNS INTO ATTEMPTED MASS BARBECUE OF KIDS

Wow, ain't life funny? You start out doing one thing and then end up doing something completely different. 

I mean once I wandered into the kitchen for a cookie but ended up eating a pickle instead. Then there was that tine I went to the shops to buy some blue cheese but came home with an air pump for my bicycle.

Crazy, I know! A bit like what happened to Ousseynou Sy, a 47-year-old African man from Senegal, living in the Italian city of Milan and working as a bus driver. He got into his school bus with the intention of innocently driving the children home as usual, but then ended up attempting to burn them all to death in a gasoline-fuelled inferno.

As reported by The Daily Mail:

Ousseynou Sy, originally Senegalese but with Italian citizenship, stopped the bus he was driving, with two classes of high school students on board.

He was said to have ordered the children's hands to be bound and threatened to kill them and himself during the drive, before setting the vehicle on fire when he was stopped by a police blockade today.

Officers broke the glass in the back door of the bus and got all the passengers to safety without serious injury before the flames destroyed the vehicle, authorities said. 

Gee, that is pretty weird! 

Anyway, I hope they're not too hard on this guy. I mean that's the kind of innocent mix-up that could happen to anyone. 

Also, maybe it works both ways, The next time he goes out to burn a bus load of innocent children, he might just drive them all safely home instead.
