JOKE "BUSINESSMAN" BONO LOSES €76 MILLION IN FASHION DISASTER

All this and a shortarse too.

U2 singer Bono, who regularly competes with serial killers, tyrants, and Hillary Clinton to be the most hated person in the universe, has just lost another five million Euros ($5.7million) due to the  the poor performance of EDUN, the crappy clothing company he owns with his wife. 

This comes on top of year-on-year losses stretching back to the company's foundation in 2004, round about the time U2's music went off a cliff. 

Altogether the midget frontman of the washed-up stadium rock band has now lost a whopping 76 million Euros ($86.4million) due to his piss poor fashion sense and crappy business acumen.

As reported by the Irish Mirror:

New figures lodged with the Companies Office show Edun Apparel Ltd recorded a loss of $5.7million (€5.1million) in the 12 months to the end of last December.

It continued the trend of hefty annual deficits recorded over recent years for the firm and 2017 followed losses of $6.3million in 2016, $7.56million in 2015 and a $5.57million loss recorded in 2014.

It had losses of $6.4million in 2013; $7.88million in 2012 and $8.5million in 2011 resulting in accumulated losses of $47million since 2011. The company lost almost $28million in its first five years.

The global fashion brand was established in 2004 in an effort to bring about positive change through its trading relationship with Africa and its positioning as a creative force in contemporary fashion.

In addition to making as much of their clothes in Africa as possible -- not a good idea -- the poor designs and inflated price tags explain why the company is losing money faster than if it was pushing bank notes into a furnace with a bulldozer.

Here is a pair of their crappy T-shirts, which appear to have large dirty smudges on the front. These retail for $30, believe it or  not.

Then there are these tote bags, which must come in handy if you have a horse that you need to feed oats to on a regular basis.

But there are also some classier items, like this handbag that is entirely made out of gumballs and sells for $290.

Last year the brand took a big hit when top luxury brand giant, LVMH, which also runs Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, decided that being associated with a morally-signalling dwarf like Bono with shit fashion sense was bad for its image. 

Despite having foolishly bought a 49% stake in the business, LMVH was so desperate to get away from EDUN that it said Bono could have their stake for nothing.

Yes, 49% of the company is basically worth nothing!!! That will give you some clue as to what the other 51% is worth. 

EDUN also had to shut down its big store in New York City last May, because people were literally puking on the windows, either because the designs were so bad or because of the association with Bono's name. 

Yes, even 99% of morally signalling degenerates in a Hipster shithole like New York agree that Bono is a mega-sized twat.
