BAD ELECTRICIAN STRIKES AGAIN - ALMOST 200 KILLED

Voltage problems
Almost 200 people, mainly local Christians with a few tourists thrown in, have been killed in Sri Lanka after a series of what appear to be electrical faults caused mass death at several churches and hotels.

The electrical-fault-generated incidents come shortly after a similar baffling incident in Paris a few days ago, where an electrical fault almost certainly caused damage to France's main Christian cathedral Notre Dame.

Despite the complete innocence of the latest series of unfortunate electronic accidents -- no doubt linked to faulty wiring, bad fuses, and the like -- some malicious mainstream media sites are trying to stir up hatred, fear, and Islamophobia by implying that these entirely random events were somehow deliberate acts of terrorism, aimed at killing Christians on their holiest day.

Well-known "hate rag" New York Times has been pushing this narrative particularly hard in an attempt to stir up conflict, riots, civil war, and genocide between Muslims and non-Muslims.

A series of coordinated bombings ripped across Sri Lanka on Sunday morning, striking hotels and churches, killing almost 200 people and shattering the relative calm that the war-torn nation had enjoyed in recent years.

The targets of the attacks were Catholic worshipers attending Easter Mass and guests at high-end hotels that are popular with foreign tourists.

The deadliest of the explosions, which began around 8:45 a.m., appeared to be at St. Sebastian’s Church in Negombo, a city about 20 miles north of Colombo, the capital. Pictures posted on social media showed blood and rubble as members of the congregation tended to wounded people strewn across pews.

Though it was not immediately clear who was responsible for the attacks, the police said they appeared to have been coordinated. A senior presidential aide said early investigations suggested that the attacks had been carried out by suicide bombers.

Funny how the New York Times claims to know so many details about these incidents so shortly after they happened. Now that surely can't be a coincidence, can it?
