OK, the fact that Trump is the new punk rock is pretty old news, but it's good to see the Godfather of Punk, Johnny Lydon, aka "former Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten" signalling his support by wearing a MAGA T-shirt, as shown in the above photo taken by some paparazzi intruding on his privacy.
The photo was taken before a gig in New Orleans, where the punk legend was on tour.
The singer, who was once interviewed by Trad News and Affirmative Right founder Colin Liddell, has voiced support for Trump in the past, saying he could be even be a "possible friend."
In a recent interview on ITV Britain, the singer called Trump "a complicated fellow," adding:
In a recent interview on ITV Britain, the singer called Trump "a complicated fellow," adding:
"As one journalist once said to me, is he the political Sex Pistol? In a way. What I dislike is the left-wing media in America are trying to smear the bloke as a racist and that's completely not true."
But Lydon has also got on the Donald's bad side. A few years ago he accidentally stood on Melania's dress while at a party, as he told The Sun newspaper:
"It was years ago I met Donald Trump where he was huffing and puffing at some charity do in New York. I have a habit in doing this, which I don't do deliberately, but if women insist on wearing dresses that are ten miles long then I will accidentally put my foot on it. So I stood on his wife's dress and he spun around and was giving it all the tough-guy stuff."
Looks like it's time for Trump to issue a presidential pardon for that unfortunate incident.
