Matt Heimbach, comeback kid? |
Ever since the Traditionalist Workers' Party (TWP) imploded in the wake of a major sex scandal earlier this year, the party's discredited ex-leader Matthew Heimbach has been keeping a low profile.
He has been helped in this by the on-going deplatforming of Dissident Right figures. But, also, it was generally thought that the sex scandal was so bad that there was no chance of Heimbach daring to show his face again, let alone make a comeback.
But now it seems that those assumptions may be wrong, as Heimbach is now starting to be active again on social media, making posts that suggest that, once more, he is turning his attention to politics.
On the 2nd of September, Heimbach posted -- on his one remaining social media outlet VK (the Russia-based Facebook clone) -- a picture of Alexander Zakharchenko, the separatist leader of Donetsk killed a few days earlier by a bomb.
Zakharchenko |
Zakharchenko was exactly the kind of person the old TWP, with their Duginist-inflected ideology used to look up to.
This was the very first post on Heimbach's VK page since February!
The very next day Heimbach was back on VK, posting a bit of National Socialist boilerplate about the Labor Day Weekend:
Then, just a few days ago on the 17th of September, came two posts from Heimbach -- one slagging off the homosexualisation of Swedish kindergartens, the other pledging solidarity to the Duginist concept of "Novorossiya," i.e. the view that large parts of the Ukraine should be ceded to Russia because of ethnic affinities.
All these posts show Heimbach revisiting his old political positions. This can mean only one thing: he is planning to get a political movement together that he can lead again.
But if he repeats himself there, then who knows what other aspects from his past he might repeat. Trad Workers, time to look to your wives and daughters!
Isn't the fatso not on Gab?

DeleteRead a book called, "Beyond This Horizon - A White Nationalist Blueprint For Tomorrow" - which examines other characters like Heimbach. Most of them did similar or worse things, and many of them, like David Duke, Don Black, and Kevin Alfred Strom, are all convicted felons. And yet, they are once again sucking money from donors like nothing ever happened. Heimbach is cut from the same con-artist cloth, and is not to be trusted. It's why our movement is such a joke. But the book tells us what we need to do to forge ahead.
