You've got to laugh at how dumb Leftists are. Back in the primaries, they allowed their chosen candidate, Bernie Sanders, to be gutted like a fish by the NeoLiberal globalists who control the Democratic party machine, and then said "thank you."

Now, after giving Biden their loyal support in the Election because "Orange Man Hitler" or something, they are being fobbed off with high-visibility, low impact "fake left" policies, rather than real left-wing policies that will benefit the country's working class. 

In the first week of Biden's presidency, no policy has received as much attention as his executive order forcing schools to include "transwomen" (aka "men") in sports. In fact, this has become his "flagship" policy right now:

Among the flurry of executive orders signed on Wednesday, Biden called on all federal agencies to enforce a US supreme court decision from last year that expanded the definition of sex discrimination to include discrimination based on sexual orientation as well as gender identity – with language that explicitly referenced the arena of high school and college sports.

“Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports,” the directive states, adding that the incoming administration is committed to “prevent and combat discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation”.

Sure, making it OK for transwomen to compete in female sports is typical loonie left garbage, and it certainly triggers a lot of right-wingers, but, in reality, its impact will be minimal, trivial, and -- outside of media and social media -- almost non-existent. 

This is what is known as a high-visibility, low-impact policy because (a) due to the Covid panic hardly any sport is taking place in schools anyway, (b) even at the best of times nobody is actually interested in female sports, and (c) if transwomen participate more in female sports, this is going to mainly hurt the high-T, mainly lesbian girls who now dominate it. 

The main benefit to Biden of this policy is that it seems "radical" and "leftist," so it helps give his essentially Neo-Liberal globalist administration a "Leftist" hue that will help pacify the Leftists idiots in his coalition. Meanwhile he shits all over truly Leftist policies that would benefit millions -- things like canceling student and rent arrears, a minimum wage, taxing his billionaire chums, and free, European-style healthcare.
