Putin and Xi: "No thanks media, we'll wait"
Unimportant countries like Britain, France, Germany, Japan, and Israel have all been quick to congratulate Biden after the Democrat candidate was proclaimed "President" by some media companies that clearly wanted him to win.
This is both doglike subservience to America, as each country assumes that Biden will become President, and also clear interference in U.S. politics. By recognising Biden as "President" before America's electoral process has had time to work, they are in effect helping the media-driven Color Revolution to gaslight the American people.
However, the facts are that Biden still has some way to go before he can claim to be President. In Pennsylvania the Supreme Court has intervened, while in Georgia a recount will shortly begin. Arizona, which was called suspiciously early by Fox News is still in play, and there are a number of legal challenges regarding vote counts in other states. In short this is far from over.
This is why serious world leaders like Vladimir Putin in Russian and Xi Jinping in China are content to wait and see what the final count is.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will remain silent about the results, the Kremlin said on Monday (9th Nov.).
“We think it appropriate to wait for the official vote count,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
Peskov said there are differences between 2020 and 2016, when Putin congratulated Trump on his victory over Hillary Clinton.
“You can see that there are certain legal procedures that have been announced by the current president. That is why the situations are different and we therefore think it appropriate to wait for an official announcement,” he said.
Beijing also is willing to respect America's democratic process, unlike America's own mainstream media and political lightweights like Boris Johnson, Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, and Japan's new Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga.
Johnson, not a serious politician
“We noticed that Mr. Biden has declared election victory,” China’s foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said Monday. “We understand that the U.S. presidential election result will be determined following U.S. law and procedures.”
Also gaining in stature from their reactions to the US election are Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. In a news conference on Saturday (7th Nov), he said:
“President Trump has been very respectful of us, and we have reached very good agreements, and we thank him because he has not interfered and has respected us. We don’t want to be imprudent nor act hastily."
Brazil’s Jair Bolsonaro, known as the “Trump of the Tropics,” and Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have also not congratulated Biden.
