Trump Derangement Syndrome is a bottomless pit for those afflicted with this rampant form of hysteria. The latest notable example comes from Canadian state broadcaster CBC: 

As reported by The Post-Millennial:

According to conservative activist Ryan Fournier, the CBC, the state-funded broadcaster of Canada, has edited out President Trump’s iconic cameo from their broadcast of the Christmas movie Home Alone 2...

The claim has been verified by American news outlet PJ Media who reports that, “CBC edited out Donald Trump’s cameo from the 1992 movie. And people watching it were quick to report the suspicious omission on social media. Some were outraged, and the snowflakes were thrilled.”

ComicBook.com first reported on the omission and they “reached out to the CBC for comment on why Trump was cut from their Home Alone 2 broadcast, and the CBC replied ‘As is often the case with features adapted for television, Home Alone 2 was edited to allow for commercial time within the format.’”

Yeh, had to cut it to make room for CMs. That's a likely story, as the cut scene is now the main reason that people actually watch this rather violent and dated slap-stick comedy. 

In fact, in a hundred years the Trump cameo will be the only reason the movie will be remembered at all.

Anyway glad to see they kept the scene with one of the characters getting his head set on fire. That's not offensive at all.

What other iconic scenes will CBC cut from famous movies they broadcast in the future? 

Maybe the shower scene from Psycho, or Neo dodging bullets in The Matrix, or the "I am your father" scene from The Empire Strikes Back, or -- God forbid! -- the "Hip to be Square" scene from American Psycho. Nah, it's just some guy chopping someone to bits with an axe. That's mild compared to a future American President giving a young boy directions.
