SPAIN OPENS ITS LATEST "LUCKY BAG" OF AFRICAN MIGRANTS

That exciting moment when you just don't know what you're getting.

Every boatload of African fake refugees is a kind of "lucky bag" -- you just don't know what you're getting until you get it.

Unlike legal migrants who migrate on the basis of their assets, experience, qualifications, and skills, the Mediterranean "boat people" smuggled across from Africa by criminal gangs and criminal NGOs are all unknown quantities.

Will they be future Nobel-winning scientists, great brain surgeons, or even prime ministers of their "adopted lands" or will they just be welfare sucking rapist criminal scum or terrorists?

The short answer is we simply don't know -- especially the second part. But it sure will be fun finding out. That seems to be position taken by the new left-wing Spanish government, which yesterday welcomed the latest batch of migrants that Italy rejected.

As reported by AP News:
Ships in the Aquarius aid convoy docked Sunday at the Spanish port of Valencia, ending a weeklong ordeal for hundreds of people who were rescued from the perilous Mediterranean only to become the latest pawn in Europe’s battle over immigration. The Italian coast guard vessel Dattilo was the first of the three boats bearing the 630 migrants to touch land just before 7 a.m. Sunday. The 270 migrants on board soon began to disembark after medical staff had made a preliminary inspection.

The rescue ship Aquarius came in at 11:00 a.m with another 106 migrants. Another Italian navy ship, the Orione, will arrive in the coming hours. The Aquarius, operated by the aid groups SOS Mediterranee Sea and Doctors Without Borders, was stuck off the coast of Sicily on June 9 when Italy refused it permission to dock and demanded that Malta do so. Malta also refused.

After days of bickering and food and water running low on the rescue ship, Spain stepped in and offered to grant the rescue boat entry. The 1,500-kilometer (930-mile) journey across the Mediterranean from Sicily to Valencia took nearly a week.

David Noguera, the head of Doctors Without Borders in Spain, said he was glad that Spain allowed these migrants in but he’s worried that more European nations will close their ports to those rescued at sea in the future.
Yes, what is wrong with those European nations? Where is there sense of adventure? Why are they suddenly so reluctant to take a "lucky dip" on the demographic top-up system that is the population overflow of Africa?

Really, I have no idea, but I suggest we get in touch with the Spaniards in a few years, after they have elected a populist anti-immigrant government like Italy and ask them why.

African migrants in Italy possibly rioting about the confusing design of traffic signs.
