Just in time for Oscar night, the most hypocritical night of the year, a beautiful sculpture of Harvey Weinstein sitting on a "rapey couch" by the artists Plastic Jesus & Joshua Monroe has appeared in Hollywood.
It is located appropriately just in front of the "The Four Silver Ladies of Hollywood," a sculpture featuring four scantily-clad women.
Titled "Casting Couch," the new sculpture is an all-too-obvious reference to the casting couch culture of Hollywood, which routinely enforces sexual degradation as the price of entry into the movie business for young actresses, most of whom are just tossed aside with their broken dreams anyway.
