Who's sari now? |
Even though technically a Commie state, there is one form of equality that Korea doesn't believe in -- that between the sexes.
While the West is turning into a genderfluid slurry of confused sexual misfits and feminine "feels" and hysteria, the People's Democratic Republic of Korea retains distinct roles for the sexes, with females accorded an honored place as low-paid agricultural workers, mothers, and occasional newsreaders.
What they are not allowed to do is operate at the upper levels of government and diplomacy, which are strictly male preserves, as this picture of North Korea's leadership shows.
The North Koreans also find it baffling that Western countries trust their affairs of state to creatures whose minds go haywire once a month and like to read trashy, masochistic sex novels.
In a firmly Confucian culture that had to eke out a harsh living on the inhospitable borderlands of the Mongol hordes, entrusting top leadership positions to such people has long been frowned on. In fact there is only one word for the North Korean attitude to women in politics, "Yellow Sharia" (Ed. actually that's two words).
Not only do they keep their own women away from the levers of power, but they literally can't hide their contempt for female political high fliers in other countries, like Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the United Nations.
This was shown clearly by an editorial published by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Friday (8th Sept.). In it they referred to Haley, whose real name is Nimrata Randhawa as a "political prostitute."
This was shown clearly by an editorial published by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Friday (8th Sept.). In it they referred to Haley, whose real name is Nimrata Randhawa as a "political prostitute."
The comments came in response to Haley's blatant neocon posturing in her statement to the U.N. Security Council on Monday (4th Sept.), when she said Pyongyang was "begging for war" merely because it was peacefully developing and testing nuclear weapons that even smaller countries like Israel are allowed to have.
The KCNA also accused Haley, who is of Sikh Indian descent, of having a "hysteric fit," using clearly sexist terminology to refer to her unfitness to be ambassador based on her gender. The statement also added:
"She is crazily swishing her skirt, playing the flagship role in Trump administration's hideous sanctions and pressure racket against the DPRK. She became a laughing stock of the world public for her reckless tongue-lashing devoid of any elementary conception of reason. It seems that she is still ignorant of what disaster would be entailed by her stupidity."
Actually, one suspects that Haley goes out of her way to provoke this kind of slap-down by North Korea, because that is exactly the kind of treatment that Sikh women get in their own sexist culture, something that she must miss in the perverted and unnatural "gender equal" culture of the the West that gives women freedom that many of them deep down don't even want -- as proved by most of them reading "50 Shades of Grey."
